Solve the keypad with this round’s papers

Collect the password papers your Scrow objective requires, read the digits for your current attempt, then enter them at the exit keypad. THRESHOLD code papers give you the digits for that round’s escape. A code copied from a successful video is not a replacement for collecting and checking them.

If you are stuck, identify the stage of the problem first: a missing paper, a digit-reading mistake or an input that the keypad did not accept. Those problems need different fixes.

Check the counter before repeating the map

Look at the gathered-paper progress and compare it with the requirement. A nearly finished search calls for checking missed areas; a complete search calls for returning to the keypad. Do not restart a full mall lap without knowing which situation you are in.

The count is more useful than memory alone. Seeing several papers close together makes it easy to assume the collection is finished when one pickup never registered.

Search the missing area, not every area again

A food-court-first route is a practical starting point. Quickly scan around the entrance and stairs, sweep upstairs, then widen into the connections and market if the requirement remains short. Watch for a paper’s small glow as you scan for reachable pickups.

Layouts vary. If the food court supplies fewer papers than in a fast recording, continue the search instead of repeatedly checking the same tables. Keep a mental record of the part of an area you actually inspected, especially when pursuit forced you away.

Return to an interrupted sweep before opening another branch. If you already finished that space, move on. This keeps the missing-paper problem separate from the pressure of being chased.

Collect useful batteries along a reachable route and check visibility before widening the search. Do not assume an exact battery count is necessary for every layout. The Scrow route guide covers the broader search priorities.

Read, type and confirm deliberately

At the keypad, use the digits you collected in the current round. On PC, type the digits with the keyboard and press Enter to confirm. Then back away from the input view and move toward the exit. Use your current interface’s prompt if the controls differ.

Do not rush the reading step because the search felt long. A wrong entry wastes the time you saved by reaching the exit. Look at the gathered digits, type them, check what the keypad received and then confirm.

Treat 4877 as the code from one attempt. It does not establish a universal answer, a redeem code or a shortcut that works without collecting papers. If somebody gives you a number, compare it with your own gathered information before treating it as useful.

When an entry fails, inspect the count and digits again. If collection is complete, solve the input problem first. Leaving the keypad to search for an imaginary extra paper will not correct a typing mistake.

Keep three paper and key systems separate

Story’s Fragment of paper items lead into an assembly step. Maintenance-key Chase uses keys deposited at the exit. Scrow uses password papers and a keypad. The words paper and escape do not make those tasks interchangeable.

Use the Story fragment guide or maintenance-key guide when the screen shows those objectives. Searching for Scrow papers in the wrong mode is a route problem, not a rare-spawn problem.

FAQ

Is there one code for every Scrow run?

Use the digits gathered in your current attempt. A recorded successful code is only that run’s example.

Why am I still missing a paper after checking upstairs?

The layout can spread the papers beyond the food court. Check unfinished stair areas and the market rather than assuming the upstairs sweep must contain every paper.

Does seeing a paper mean it is collected?

Check the pickup interaction and gathered count. A visible glow alone is not the collection confirmation.

What should I do when the keypad rejects a code?

Recheck the paper requirement, read the current digits and inspect your typed entry. Correct the input before repeating a complete search.

Are these the same fragments used in Episode 1?

No. Episode 1 fragments are assembled during Story. Scrow papers supply digits for the Chase keypad.
